Travis has been busy working away on the rock before he heads off to work. I took lots of pictures from different distances away from the house because I really like how it is looking!

Weekend Update
I have gotten into a bad habit of waiting until it is dark to take pictures and then I have to use my flash which shows how dirty my camera lens is...so here are lots of pictures and ignore any spots on them! I was looking through the previous pictures and noticed that the crown molding was hard to see in the kitchen. So again, here is some of the black crown and there will be one more strip of cherry colored trim on top of that.
I am also starting to obsess with taking sunset pictures...

We now have the shower all framed out and wrapped in backer board. We started taping the seams and covering in thinset. The next step will be to completely cover in a vapor barrier to make sure no moisture gets through as this is the steam shower. We put in more framing at the top for the glass doors to hook on to. Just putting those couple of boards in seemed to define the space a lot more which made us realize how big our shower actually is.
There are 6 shower heads...the 5 larger knobs on the right side wall are shower heads and the one on the lower left portion of the bench is for the hand held shower head. The knob on the lower right wall is where the steam will come out and the steam control will be in the middle of that right wall. There are also the two canned lights in there too. To give you an idea height wise for the shower, that ladder is an 8 foot ladder...

This is our master bedroom. There is still just a bit more trim work to do on the windows in here (and the french doors entering our bedroom still need to be reversed)
The trim carpenters started hanging and trimming out the theater room pocket doors
More sunset pictures and these ones are from the guest suite

Looking into the guest bedroom from the hallway...I took so many pictures of the guest room area because that is where the trim carpenters were working today. They got another job so they are framing that house during the day and trimming out our house at night. They are hoping to finish up this week.

On Saturday, it was really warm out, so Travis and his dad decided to start rocking the back of the house to get out of the hot sun. I was putting up some metal lathe in the back too and got most of the back of the house minus the columns done.
Then on Sunday, it was a lot colder and really windy, so they moved up front to get out of the wind and started working on the garage face.

There was lots of progress made this weekend, but when we are working out there almost every day, it is hard to see any progress. I feel like I have set a moving date so many times, but at this point we are hoping to be living in the house within the next month. The granite guy finished templating all the countertops today. Travis told me not to get my hopes up, but we could have all of our granite in by the end of the week!

Granite!!!
So, we asked the granite guy to make the lockers highest priority so that the trim carpenters could finish hanging the cabinets...and he did. I wasn't thinking the granite for the lockers would be installed until Thursday, but when we went out to the house today I was pleasantly surprised. I don't think they got everything templated today, but every little thing brings us that much closer to moving in. Here are some pictures of the locker area with the granite being used as bench seating.
This picture has one of the locker style cabinets on top to show a little more of what it will look like completed
We also drove by the granite shop to look at our granite slabs again. The sun was shining on them at a weird angle, so it was hard to really get a good look of them which means my pictures didn't turn out very well either. Below is the kitchen granite. It looks almost see through or like a mirror in the picture, but it's actually pretty dark black.

Lots of Pictures
I didn't get pictures taken until later tonight, so the rock pictures didn't turn out very well. I wanted to post a picture of it to show how far Travis has gotten. I remember working on the siding in the middle of winter and wishing it was warm out and after helping Travis for a short bit on the rock today, I was wishing that it was not so warm out now. So despite the heat, he is making quite a bit of progress.
The trim guys are continuing to work and I have not posted that many pictures of it, so here are some to show their progress. This is the Jack and Jill hallway/entries...
They installed crown molding on my laundry cabinets. The granite guy is coming to template tomorrow and will hopefully have the locker granite pieces done and installed on Thursday. Then the trim carpenters can finish installing the rest of the locker cabinets and crown molding
This picture is looking out the windows in the nook and was trimmed out to look like the trim outdoors with the thicker trim piece between the windows.

The kitchen cabinets now have the black trim moulding on the upper cabinets and will have one more piece of cherry moulding on top of that. They also added the extension on the center island to make it the size we wanted.
More kitchen cabinets...
The guest bathroom is now all grouted
This picture is of the trim in the guest bedroom. They have almost all the base trim installed downstairs now too. All doors are hung and at least have the two side pieces of trim

Quick Tile Update
I was able to set some more tiles this weekend and am planning to get them all cleaned and grouted today. The guest shower wall is now finished...
I also did some more slate flooring around the bar area. I ran a little low on tile so there are a few places under where the cabinets go that aren't full pieces.

Master Bathroom
I was able to get the master bathroom floor grouted and after Travis got off work, we framed out the tub deck and put hardiebacker on it so that it can be ready for tile. Although Mocha is sitting in the middle of the floor in this picture, her new favorite spot is on the back of the tub deck looking out the window:)

Even More Tile
The grout on the Jack and Jill bathroom tile was dry by today, so I posted another picture to show the lighter color
I would like to say that we now have everything, but the kitchen sink, but instead we have the kitchen sink and more things to buy and even more things to do...Either way, here's a picture of the kitchen sink which will be undermount just like the bathroom sinks.

More Tile Pictures
The Jack and Jill bathroom is now all completely grouted - walls and floors! I need to do another quick cleaning, then seal the tile. Afther that is finished, it'll be one full bathroom that I can cross of my list...YIPPEE!
We are also doing a little more framing in the master bathroom for the jacuzzi tub. As with all the projects in the house, it is taking longer than anticipated, but we are getting closer.

Sinks
We bought sinks for the Jack and Jill bathroom and the master bathroom today so that the granite guys has those when he templates for the countertops on Tuesday. They are undermount sinks so the yellowish outside rim will all be covered. The first picture is the master bathroom sink and they were such a deal we could not pass them up.
This sink style is what is going in the Jack and Jill bathroom and has some different, but cool dimensions.
