Post Birthday Fun

Bryant is still loving and playing with all the toys from his birthday.  He found the bucket with drinks (and water) from Sunday and started splashing around, so we started to set up his pool so he could splash some more

The water was still a little chilly, but he had so much fun!

 

 Tonight, we got to have bubbles before bed time.  They get to play bubbles quite a bit at daycare, so Bryant was a pro at trying to catch the big bubbles:)

Beep, Beep, Beep

Bryant's first birthday party was on Sunday.  He loves the Little Blue Truck books, so that was the theme of the party

 

He got to practice opening a present before the party started and thought it was pretty fun!

 All the guests arrived, so it was time to open presents.  Bryant had lots of help from his nieces and friends

Then it was time for cake! 

Bryant was overwhelmed and didn't know what to think when everyone started singing.

Then we put the cake on his tray and he would not touch it!  So, we learned that Bryant will try any food, except cake.

After everyone else had cake, we got to play with all his presents.  Bryant absolutely loves anything with wheels.  He has gotten so good at manuevering his wheeled toys around in the past couple days that he is almost running with them everywhere!

 

 Bryant had a great time celebrating with family and friends!

Happy 1st Birthday, Bryant!

Bryant got to start his birthday celebration last night with some frozen yogurt.  He tasted the first bite and couldn't get enough!

He thought if he got to use the spoon, he would get it faster

Then found the quickest way was to eat directly from the bowl!

 Today, he woke up and got to open his present from his Aunt Heather and Uncle Brian

Bryant loved that Mocha would ride with him!

 Then, he got his favorite breakfast...waffles!

and more wagon time...can you tell this present was a big hit?

Then it was time to open a few presents from Mom and Dad.

Next we were off to Exploration Works to play

Then to the Carousel for his first ride!

And finally, he got to cap the night off with some ice cream.  He loved his first cone!

 

Apparently a little sugar made him think he should push his wagon, instead of ride in it!

Fairmont and More!

I had a few older pictures on my camera that I hadn't downloaded yet.  We've been getting a lot of good use out of Bryant's stroller.

Bryant absolutely loves his dog, so when we got them both in the stroller, he had a blast!

This weekend, we headed to Fairmont to meet up with my Aunt and Uncle.  We were spoiled with delicious food and Bryant got to have a little pre-birthday celebration.

Bryant got a new swim outfit in his present, so we got to test it out and go swimming.  We had also gotten him a float toy awhile back and Bryant loved it.  He just slouched down, kicked his feet up, and relaxed! 

Bryant thought it was pretty funny when Daddy blew bubbles

So, he gave it a shot too.  He'd stick his mouth in the water, lift his head up, and smile.  Like Father, like son!

Bryant has really been into "squint face" smiles lately too
