Happy Thanksgiving!

This was a big week for Bryant.  He turned 16 months old and got to celebrate two Thanksgivings.  Travis and I got to join him at daycare on Tuesday for a Thanksgiving lunch.  They didn't really have enough seating for parents around the little kids table, so Bryant got to eat at the big kids table with us.

And then on actual Thanksgiving Day, we got to celebrate with both sets of grandparents.  Bryant had so much fun showing off.

As for Bryant's 16 month update, there's not a lot new to post.  He attempts to learn some new words, but I'm still not sure what he's saying.  He is pretty good with his sign language - the other day he saw a bird and started running towards it and signing bird.  He is big into putting things on his head whether it is a hat or a box.  He likes to build and play in forts.  He still loves books and lately he has been trying to read some of them back to me as shown in this video:

I attempted to get some 16 month pictures today and this was the best I could do with a boy who doesn't like to sit still!
This is his "what does a lizard do" face

I found Mocha's leash, can I take her for a walk?
So we decide to head outside...

and then he found snow...

SNOWBALL!!!!
I wonder what he is thinking behind this little mischevious grin...

We are so thankful to have such a happy and playful little (growing) boy and be able to spend quality time with our families.  Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving too!

More Teeth

Bryant was a bit fussy this morning, but chocolate chip pancakes made him feel a bit better!

This afternoon, his mood hadn't improved much, until we had some ice cream and a bath.  Turns out he had another tooth pop through.  That brings Bryant to 6 teeth - 3 on top and 3 on the bottom.

Happy Birthday Grandpa Ed!

We had a busy Saturday with football and volleyball games and then today, we got to celebrate a belated birthday with Grandpa Ed.

Bryant modeled Grandpa's new hat for him

Bryant had fun reading books and running around with Grandma and Grandpa.  Happy belated birthday and thanks for coming to visit for the afternoon!

Updated Pictures and Videos

This winter may be a long winter for us.  I think Bryant has learned the word "outside" (sounds like Aaah-die) and with it getting colder, I'm not letting him go outside as much or as long.  The other day he was adamant about sitting in his wagon and saying outside, so I gave in and we went for a walk to the mailbox.

It started to get a bit windy and our wind chimes out front were ringing and Bryant found out that he could hit them and they would make even more noise.  With all the fun he was having, it was hard to get him back inside.

The day after Halloween, daycare had pajama day so the kids could relax after all the hype.  Bryant seemed to enjoy his axe much better after Halloween...

He has also started this new thing when you ask him where something is, he does this:

Bryant took some really long naps over the weekend.  I think it is partially because of the craziness around Halloween and that he is growing so much lately.  Either way, he woke up from a nap the other day and I went to get him and he managed to slip one of his arms out of his shirt.  It looked like he was having a little toga party!

We also had more indoor wagon fun

The wagon train

He also got to bring home his Halloween decorations from daycare

I've also captured a few videos of Bryant recently that make me smile and laugh.  The first video shows how much Bryant loves his dog

This video shows his 'chore'

This one he shows you where his belly is.  Usually he pokes his belly button, but with not liking to show off for the camera much, I was impressed that I got anything:)
