Dog Show

There was a dog agility competition at the fairgrounds this weekend so we headed over to check it out. Bryant loved seeing all the dogs and was really getting into it. He would tell them to go, jump, run through the tunnel, and of course he said a lot of "hi doggie" and "bye doggie." If that wasn't fun enough, we saw a practice jump outside. I think we have a future high jumper on our hands - like father, like son:)

The 24th of this month came and went too fast. I didn't realize Bryant was already 21 months, so I don't have an update prepared. One new thing that he picked up this month are his shapes, which daycare gets credit for. We were coloring the other day and Bryant said "sear-cle". I had no idea he knew that! He has really enjoyed coloring lately and is now explaining what he draws.

Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny was pretty busy this morning, so he waited until after breakfast to visit.  In the meantime, Bryant was giving his elephant a bike ride.

And a hug

After breakfast, the Easter Bunny visited and brought lots of fun toys and left some candy and eggs too!

Keeping track of all his snacks!

"Co-yas" (Colors), which shortly after was followed by "pretty!"
After the Easter Bunny stopped by, we headed to Whitehall to meet up with Grandma and Grandpa.  Bryant did his chores by helping get the llamas some water.

And went swinging

Then opened presents from Grandma and Grandpa

He sure loves his books!
We had to test out his new water toy from the Easter Bunny. This will be a lot of fun in the summer and will be a good way to stay cool - he was soaked!
He loves looking for eggs too and he makes sure he opens them all as soon as he finds them.  Wouldn't want to miss out on any treats.

Bryant is one lucky little boy to be loved by so many.  We had another great day and enjoyed the company of Grandma and Grandpa!

HAPPY EASTER!!!

Pre-Easter Festivities

Our neighborhood had a Easter Egg Hunt this morning, so we signed Bryant up.  We got Travis' basket from when he was a kid and practiced with it the night before so he would know what to do.
Getting ready to go to the Hunt
Grandma and Grandpa joined us for the festivities

There were over 600 eggs for the kids in our neighborhood.  Bryant was scouting out all the locations before it all started.

600 eggs for about 15 kids and Bryant was definitely the youngest!

 And he's off and running...

What color is your egg?  Yea-yo.  (his response for any color is yellow)

Bryant did really well and got quite a few eggs, a bubble wand, and a kite.  Besides the egg hunt, the neighbors also had a ton of food for afterward.  Who wants a fruit skewer with peeps?

Bryant does!!!

Then he got to open presents from Grandma and Grandpa

And Aunt Sheri and Uncle Carl

After a well-deserved nap, we headed outside to play.  It was almost 70 degrees out, so we played outside a lot!  We threw the ball.

Played on his playset

He actually did really well on the big kid swing and got a little momentum going with all of us telling him when to kick.

After that, it was time for Easter cake.  Yummy!

Then it was time for bubbles.

Look at that determination!

Bryant is very bossy with Mocha.  She was chasing after a car that passed and was barking.  Bryant chased after her and shook his arm at her and told her NO!
We sure loved the good weather and good company today - thanks for spending the day with us Grandma and Grandpa!

Fairmont

We are all ready for some warmer weather.  Bryant is wanting to play outside a lot and Friday night it was pretty windy and chilly, but who could stop this cutie from wanting to have fun?

On Saturday, we headed to Fairmont Hot Springs for the weekend.  Bryant had fun swimming, but he is definitely a cautious little boy.

It got colder over the weekend, so instead of going outside to play, he "colored" at the desk.  What a grown up little boy!

We also tested out the game room.  Bryant has been obsessed with wanting to drive my car every time we get home from daycare, so naturally, he wanted to play the driving game.

What a natural!

With it being pretty cold, we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor activities at Fairmont as much as we were hoping.  The trip to the animal farm was pretty quick, but Bryant had so much fun.  He saw ducks, mini horses, and goats and would make their sounds when he saw them.

"Duck - Quack, Quack"

"Mere" (Come here)

They also have a really fun looking playground, so we're already planning a play date picnic when Aunt Sheri and Uncle Carl come up for their visit:)

All that playing leads to one really tired boy.

But there's no time for sleeping when there was a circus in Butte!

I didn't take any pictures of the circus, but it is amazing how much more interest Bryant had in the circus this time compared to the last time we went.  I think his favorite acts were the dogs and elephants.  At one point the elephants laid down so I said they were going night, night and it made Bryant want to cry...same thing when they left and he had to say bye, bye elephant.  He clapped and waved and had a great time!

We also made a quick trip to the Butte mall and both Trav and I got a new pair of colorful shoes.  Of course, Bryant had to test them out first...I think he's got some big shoes to fill!
