Weekend Fun

We started off last weekend with a big pancake breakfast and ended the night by watching the Carroll men's basketball game.

 Pre-game Selfie!

Selfies at the game!  Bryant really enjoys watching the basketball games (and getting popcorn at halftime).  The game wasn't too close until it got to the end.  When the crowd started getting into it, so did Bryant.  He was cheering and having a blast!

With the sun staying up later, Bryant has been complaining about the sun in his eyes on the way home from daycare.  So, he's been putting his sunglasses on all by himself.

He looks so much older without his hat on!  Surprisingly enough, the sun was still in his eyes until he turned his glasses right side up:)

We went to two basketball games last week and after each one, Bryant wanted to come home and "play shoot".  He has been getting better with dribbling and shooting from farther away, but last night, he was really impressed with his dunks!  I'm sure these basketball videos are the first of many for this guy:)

We have another fun weekend planned ahead as we signed Bryant up for his first building class at Lowes.  He's going to build a monster truck!  He has a little toy car and drill that he builds with, so we'll see how he does with the real thing...more pictures to come!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Bryant was pretty excited for Valentine's Day this year because he was having a party at school.  He picked out Mickey Mouse valentines for his friends that came with suckers.  He would make sure each friend got one and when daddy asked if he could have one, Bryant responded "they are for my friends..."

He was so excited when I picked him up after his party and we had to keep looking at all the Valentines from his friends all night!

He also got Valentines from Grandmas and Grandpas and Mom and Dad throughout the weekend, so it was a weekend full of celebrations!

He's really creative with naming his animals.  This one's name is Raccoon.

On Saturday morning, we headed to the cabin for some snow and relaxation since all the snow in Helena has melted.  We took the truck not knowing how much snow there would be, which Bryant was so happy that Mocha got to ride next to him.  I don't think Mocha shared the same enthusiasm:)

We stopped at our usual restaurant in Ennis for some lunch.  They have a whole bunch of little ride on toys, so Bryant had to take a couple spins on the mini carousel.

When we got to the cabin, there was definitely snow, but nowhere near the amount they usually have in the winter.  It still made for some fun sledding and snow castles!

We rented the Planes movie and Bryant gave it two thumbs up!

The next morning we went out for some more fun in the snow

And found a steep hill that was fun to slide down on without a sled.

His "thumbs up" face cracks me up!

The weather was gorgeous so we were able to explore all around the lake.

Eating the white snow
That afternoon we headed to West Yellowstone for some shopping and dinner.  Doesn't Bryant look sharp in a cowboy baseball hat?

On Monday we headed back and Bryant had to look at his Valentines again.  He wanted to try out the tattoos he got from some of his friends.  He chose to put them on his belly.

Then he went for a relaxing soak in the hot tub.

We had a lot of fun and I can't believe how fast a 3 day weekend goes!

Belated Post

We have had a busy past couple weekends and I've gotten a little behind on my posting.  A couple weeks ago we went to dinner and afterwards, Bryant was singing up a storm.  I would have recorded a lot more, but I ran out of memory on my phone.  Enjoy Bryant's renditions of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and The Farmer in the Dell.  Neither Travis or I could remember the words to Farmer in the Dell, so we had to see what the actual words were after hearing Bryant's version:)

Super Bowl Sunday was a super busy day.  Bryant had a birthday party at the Carousel for a friend and then he had some friends and Grandma and Grandpa Zanto over for the football game.  He was one tired boy that night!

Bryant was funny at the Carousel - the past couple times he did so well and had so much fun.  This time it took him awhile to have fun on the rides and not have it be scary.  He always had to ride the frog too...

The homemade pretzel balls for the Super Bowl were such a big hit, that we made them again this weekend.  Bryant is such a big helper!

Bryant and daddy both got haircuts at home today too...don't they look sharp!
