End of February/Early March

Sleepy boy!

I got to join Garrett for his Valentine's Day party at school.  Not surprising he went for the cupcake first!

One of Garrett's favorite songs..."We will, we will...Rock you!"

He was running out of leg room when he sat rear-facing in his car seat, so we got him switched around so he faces forward now.

Hot tub fun

Garrett had come down with a cold and fell asleep in my arms way before bed time.

It has been crazy how long winter lasted here this year, so we had to make the best of it.

I can't remember what we did this night, but we got home late.  Garrett was adamant that he got to hold his sucker and he did not let it go even when he was fast asleep.

You know our kids are either growing or sick if they willingly take a nap.  I think this was a sick Bryant.

Another favorite "How much is that doggy in the window?"

The first weekend in March, we headed to Bozeman for the weekend.  We stayed at a hotel with a waterslide, which the boys absolutely loved!  A couple weeks later, Bryant had brought home one of his school assignments and he had written how he like waterslides because they are fast.

We also did the Mighty Machines at the Museum of the Rockies

Bryant "won" these awesome teeth from playing games at our lunch spot.

Then it was time for the men's basketball game!

"Garrett do you want to sit on my lap?"

He wouldn't take a nap earlier, so by the end of the game all the noise couldn't keep this kid awake

He did have fun doing the YMCA though

Being silly in the hotel room

These boys love their basketball - this was watching Carroll men win the Frontier Conference

And Bryant's school assignment...

They both love the light show when the players get announced and often ask to do it at home.  This was their cheer after they got announced:)

The weather warmed up enough for a nice walk.  It was so cute when Bryant wanted to hold Garrett's hand and walk around the loop, which turned into playing chase, but still fun!

And go figure, it ended with playing some basketball!

Happy Birthday Garrett

Bryant wanted to make a card for Garrett's birthday.  Here's what he wrote:

Getting ready to open presents at his birthday party with Grandmas and Grandpas

Garrett couldn't wait to start eating the oreos!

Since Bryant had a friend's birthday party on Garrett's actual birthday, we celebrated Garrett's birthday as just a family

Bryant created a treasure map for Garrett to find his big birthday present, so here's the video of them finding the treasure.

Happy birthday to the sweetest and sassiest 2 year old who loves to sing songs, read books, go on slides, play basketball, and ride motorcycles.  He recently got a new shirt that totally fits him and it says Build, Wreck, Repeat.  He's got quite the vocabulary, which we can translate most of the time.  He can be very persistent when he doesn't get his way, which usually turns to hitting, pinching and kicking, but then will be the sweetest boy and give big hugs and make sure "you ok?"  Happy Birthday Garrett - we love you!

Garrett had his 2 year check-up and is doing great!  He was 36" tall and weighed 31 lbs 13 oz, both of which were the 87th percentile.  It was pretty similar to Bryant at that same age - Garrett was .25" shorter and a little over a pound heavier than Bryant.
