June Update

Playing at the playground at Four Georgians where Bryant will go to school now.

The weekend we moved into the house, we heard cheering at the park so we headed over and watched some softball from the outfield

Bryant's still been baking and made some fruit cupcakes

The official last day of school

Bella enjoying the sun beams in our new house

My brother and family came up for the weekend to celebrate my dad's birthday. After dinner we went to the driving range to hit some golf balls

The boys love hanging out with their cousins!

Bryant made a cake for grandpa's birthday. He made a tasty peanut butter chips and strawberry cake (like a pb&j) with a golf theme

More playing at the playground

Bryant swung around on the blue thing and landed back on the equipment and was so proud of himself

Tons of bunnies in our yard and neighborhood. Garrett now thinks he wants a pet bunny...

Posing with the new paint and carpet in our basement

This was the original colors and carpet in our basement... yikes!

It's a quick 5 minute walk to grandma and grandpa's house. Garrett's showing daddy the way home

Grandma and grandpa took us to Costco to pick out our housewarming gift!

Happy father's day to our amazing, incredible, mighty dad! Would you believe that Garrett picked out the shirt?

We had a conversation a couple years ago with Trav's mom on who would move first (us or them). We did move first but Trav's parents closed on a house in Helena shortly after we closed. We feel so lucky that the boys will have both sets of grandparents so close.
Travis' sister and family came to visit to help start packing their house up and the boys got to sleepover in Whitehall with their cousins for a couple nights (first kidless nights for us in 3 years!) and then they slept over at our house

Thumbs up for whipped cream (there was some cake and strawberries in there too)

May Update

We decided that life wasn't crazy enough with being quarantined and remote working and learning that we decided to move. We'd been thinking about it for a long time, but hadn't done anything to serious about it. Then in one day, Trav saw a new house come on the market, we toured it at lunch, put in an offer by dinner (one of many on the house), and had our offer accepted. So May among all its craziness was also getting ready to move and put our house on the market.

Sometimes ninja warriors crash and need naps too

He's been in a jersey phase so he wore Trav's old track uniform around for a couple days

So happy when he got to get his letter in the mail from his friend at school. He asked every day after that if he was getting more mail.

Thre first 5 pictures were all Garrett so here's one of Bryant and his pup

Bryant is big into baking and making his own recipes. He drew up this one where he had frozen cups of ice and then you would have powder in one and pour warm milk over it

Mining for crystals in the front yard

Bryant made this dessert all by himself and called it smores. I was a little nervous to try it but it was delicious! It had marshmallows (frozen, chopped, and melted), white chocolate, sprinkles, icing, chopped robin eggs and probably more that I can't remember. It sounds very sweet but it was quite a delicious little bite sized snack!

He had a class project to make a bird's nest... isn't his amazing

Just kidding... that was a real bird's nest... not sure why my pictures got out of order, but the next picture is his bird's nest or mud mess

Grandma and Grandpa returned from being snowbirds and we went to visit them after their quarantine was over. The boys enjoyed flying grandpa's airplane

Oh my and Bryant had quite the snaggletooth going and would purposely smile to show it...

We left town and couldn't believe it, but saw an ice cream truck driving the back roads of Whitehall so you know we pulled over for a treat!

Painting rocks

Bryant has a big glue gun and made a boat (that floats!)

While packing, we found Garrett's hat that he wore as a baby

And made our own paper hats

We went to lunch at the causeway and it was taking forever. Garrett ended up having a meltdown... and then an accident while Travis was holding him. So we got our lunch to go and commemorated the "fun" outing with a picture with the two wet boys... don't they look thrilled?

Making their own dinner. Garrett opted for peanut butter and jelly sandwich

Bryant opted to make chicken and waffles. He dredged his own chicken and made his own sauce. I again was nervous to try it and again he surprised me that it actually tasted really good!

Go figure right before we move, we make good friends with the neighbors. Our boys had so much fun playing with their kids and they would ask to play at each other's houses every day. We hung out Friday night and enjoyed marshmallows by the fire

And the boys crashed on their couch

Bryant's been trying to be a big help around the house with chores and he really wanted to help paint the deck railing. He was so excited and was soaking up all the advice Travis gave him

More cooking adventures... the boys had free reign in the kitchen while I worked. They always left a ton of dishes but it also gave me time to work.  This time Garrett made pie salad. This was after he walked in with a plate of bread sliced into strips (or as he called them "fries" and said "nailed it". I couldn't quite stomach the pie salad... bread, jelly,  and lots of salt

Bryant, on the other hand, made croutons and then some mini pb&j sandwiches with the croutons. Again... quite tasty
