My little 10 month old boy is becoming such an independent man. Meal time has become interesting. He is not a big fan of purees anymore and wants to feed himself. Apparently at daycare they had 3 babies that used high chairs and only 2 high chairs. Bryant was one who got fed first and when he got his puffs, he would eat one and drop one to his friend waiting on the floor. This surprised me because we have to give him puffs one at a time, otherwise they all go in his mouth at once. But daycare did say that when his friend isn't there; there is no one at a time. Dropping food on the floor at daycare also means that we drop food on the floor at home, which Mocha is liking more and more. Right now his favorite foods are applesauce, bananas, puffs, and pancakes.
I think his personality is growing faster than he is. He has a couple of tricks down, but doesn't always perform on command. He will wave occasionally, loves to clap, and recently learned SO BIG!
He loves his dog and Mocha is so patient with him. Bryant is understanding "no" now, but that doesn't mean he will always listen. The two most common things that he earns a "no" with are torturing Mocha and trying to play with electrical outlets. When we tell him "no", he'll turn and look at you then shake his head, smile, and try to continue doing what he shouldn't. It's so hard to remain serious and not laugh!
He is getting better at pulling himself up on things. He's not real interested in walking on his own and when you try to hold his hand and walk with him, he prefers to hop.
He loves anything that makes a lot of noise
He also likes to chase toys around the house
His fever from the weekend is gone and Monday, he was pretty much back to his normal self. My parents came over and got to soak up some of his smiles:)
It's hard to believe our boy is double digits in months now...Happy Belated 10 month birthday, Bryant!
