Travis' birthday was Saturday and when I asked Bryant what he wanted to get Daddy for his birthday, he insisted we get him candles. So, Bryant picked out the candles for Daddy's cake.
And got to help blow out the candles. If you are wondering the cake says Happy 70/2 Birthday Travis:)
On Sunday, we got a tree permit and went looking for the perfect Christmas tree with our good friends. Both grandparents have been on the hunt for some button-up shirts for Bryant because it is near impossible to get a regular shirt on without hurting his arm. So here he is sporting one of his new shirts - definitely makes life a lot easier in the morning!
It was a beautiful day and even with a hurt wing, Bryant wanted to shovel
After a short hike, we decided a "nice" tree was better than the "perfect" tree!
Our eyes were bigger than our house...the tree was hanging pretty far out the back of the truck!
We cut about 4 feet off and still had a very tall tree!
All decorated - she's a beaut!
Bryant understands a bit more about Christmas this year. Holidays were always fun as a kid, but it is so much more fun seeing the excitement through Bryant's eyes:)
