As promised in my last post, I have the stats for the boys...and graphs too!
Garrett is late getting in for his 3 year check-up, but he was 40.1" tall (79%) and 37 pounds (79%)
At Bryant's 7 year well check-up, he was 52.9" tall (>99%) and 64 lbs, 8 oz (91%).
We have Trav's growth chart until age 4 and these boys are following in the same track. Check out how close those lines are!
I also was able to grab the boys' growth charts from the doctor's office. Bryant is going to be one tall boy if he continues at this rate.
Bryant - Height
Garrett too, but not as much...we'll see how that continues because I think Garrett grew about 1-2 inches more since we went to the doctor.
I have several pictures that I had sent to me, but can't remember all of what they were from, so here's a couple random (but cute) pictures from the past couple months
I was gone for a work trip and the boys took over our bed:)
Garrett was supposedly "sick" this day, but sure ate a lot of lunch...
Playing at the dog park
We had Bella spayed. Poor thing was pretty sore for a day or two. We were supposed to keep her from jumping or running for 10 days so she wouldn't rip her stitches. She made it 2 days at most and there was nothing we could do to slow her down. Luckily her stitches were fine.
Garrett and Daddy had a lunch date. This kid loves Costco pizza, but be prepared to stay there for at least an hour because he likes to take his time!
Bryant had outgrown his bike, so him and Trav checked out Goodwill and found an awesome bike for Bryant and Garrett.
Little Bryant Appleseed was helping Trav pick apples from several trees.
Always so shocking when the stores have Christmas items out in August...
And finally for the August Update...
The boys were doing ninja warrior challenges and I had to vote for who was best. What's your vote?
Garrett
or Bryant?
One of Bryant's friends at Little Fox had these little soda things and told him what gas station he could buy them at, so we went and got them and he was thrilled!
Garrett was happy with his choices too
We spent the day at Fairmont with Grandpa Jack, Grandma Susie, Ryan, and Kacee and the girls for Reagan's birthday and this was the only picture I took. They sure had fun playing in the pool.
Bryant had wrecked his bike at the bike park earlier that week, so we went there over the weekend to try the big hill again.
No wrecking this time!
Garrett made a bird seed pine cone at school and was so excited to come home and hang it in the tree. Unfortunately it was so windy the next day that it blew away, but luckily Garrett didn't notice.
One of Trav's friend's mom passed away, so we made a quick trip to Whitehall. We got in some game playing - Bryant was pretty impressed with his Jenga skills
And of course, we had to do Ninja Warrior at the playground
We helped pick delicious raspberries and then got to enjoy them over some ice cream. Yum!
These silly boys are always entertaining:)
That same weekend, we welcomed "baby Keith" as the boys call him to the family. Ryan and Kacee's little boy made his arrival.
Then we headed back to Fairmont to meet with Aunt Sheri and Uncle Carl.
The boys had so much fun playing with all the presents from Aunt Sheri and Uncle Carl and it turned out that one of Garrett's friends from pre-school was in the condo right by us. Lots of fun and playing for everyone!
Then the boys got to meet baby Keith for the first time. They were so excited!
I love that we get this picture on the way to swimming every year:)
And we definitely had to make sure to feed the goats!
Can you say exhausted?
We went to dinner with Grandma and Grandpa and the boys saw a new slide close by and wanted to check it out after dinner. Helena had 3 new grade schools built this summer and they were having an open house that night and the next day, so it turned into a fun weekend of touring the new schools and testing out the playground equipment. The boys definitely approved!
Yes, one school is called Bryant. We own a vacant lot one block from the new Bryant school and it is very tempting to want to build on it and move there!
We loved the reading pods in the library!
Love the commentary to the boys basketball game.
Garrett is getting so good at riding his strider bike. He's got the balance figured out, so as soon as he figures out how to pedal, he's off to the races!
Grocery shopping fun:)
You saw Bryant with his new bike at the beginning...he was so excited to show Garrett his pedal bike with training wheels. Garrett was thrilled! He is still working on pedaling, but I can pretty much guarantee he'll be without training wheels next summer.
I love his little shimmy shake dance moves.
And then it was already time for the first day of school.
These two boys are sure something special!
And the last picture of August is with Bryant and his sloth that he grew.
