Bryant wanted to go play at the park, so we decided to check out the playground at his future school where he will be a Warren Wolverine. When we got to the park, he asked us if there were going to be wolverines there. Obviously there weren't so he was ready to play. He sees the kids outside practicing football outside school, so he thinks when he goes to big kids school that he gets to play football. He wants to play for the yellow team and also asked if he could wear the stripes under his eyes:)
I asked Bryant if he wanted to make something for Grandpa Ed's birthday and he said he wanted to make "river cookies". I had no idea what he meant, so I decided we could make blue and green cookies and decorate them with river stuff (fish, worms, and rocks). Bryant had a blast making them!
Happy birthday Grandpa! |
That weekend, we decided to head to the cabin with Grandpa and Grandma and then go watch the Bobcat football team play in Pocatello. Go Cats Go!
I think Bryant's favorite part of the game was after kickoff when a dog would run out on the field and grab the tee. But he also liked watching Idaho State's mascot drive around on a motorcycle.
Someone told us that watching the Bobcats win can be exhausting...
The next day at the cabin was perfect weather for playing outside and building a snowman.
Who says you can't play baseball in the winter?
All the football watching got Bryant excited to play at home. What do you think...future quarterback?
Bryant was being a big help around the house, so when we were out running errands, I told him he could pick out a special treat at the dollar store. He chose to get a guitar like grandpa.
And we got his school pictures back the other day...what a grown up little boy!
Then it was time to get ready for Thanksgiving at our house. Bryant made everyone a turkey hand so they knew where to sit.
He also made this sign for our centerpiece.
On Thanksgiving, we were lucky enough to have both Grandmas and Grandpas again.
The next day he got to spend with Grandpa Ed and Grandma Betty while mom and dad worked. Looks like breakfast was a success!
Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!
