We are loving being a little family of four. Garrett is such a cuddly baby who loves to smile...typically because he just drank a lot of milk or because big brother was talking to him. It's amazing how much he has changed in just his 2 short weeks. He's starting to adjust his sleep schedule and has been awake more during the day. This pictures are over the past two weeks and I think you can even see a change in his appearance over that time.
Our first family walk wasn't super successful...everyone needed to be carried, which made for a short walk (by distance) that took a long time!
Bryant still loves being a big brother. He loves to get diapers for his brother. He says that's his job. He also found out that Garrett likes to suck on his finger, so Bryant thinks that he produces milk out of his finger. The other day, he told me that Garrett likes his milk finger:) He also thought that Garrett looked cold the other day, so he put this on him...
We've also discovered that Build-a-Bear clothes fit Garrett's head. Future Bronco in the making?
Last Thursday, Garrett went for his 2 week checkup. I'm not sure why the picture came in sideways, but you can see that my boys are almost identical, with Garrett being just slightly bigger than Bryant in all categories!
Last Friday, we took Bryant to his first track meet. We explained to Bryant that daddy did the high jump and trying to explain sports to a 3 year old can always prove interesting. Bryant's understanding was that daddy jumped over sticks! After watching the competition, Bryant has now been practicing high jumping into the bean bag, bed, and anything else soft at the house:)
And more smiles!!!
Look at those dimples!
Between Carroll games and the approach of March Madness, we've been watching a lot of basketball at our house, which also means that Bryant has been playing a LOT of basketball. His creativity is so fun to watch and it's also amazing to see what he picks up from watching. He has to have warm-ups, do the jump ball, go to his locker room at half time, he always creates different team names (some more common words he uses in his team names are instruments, enras (I have no idea what this is, but almost always used), bobcats, broncos, and omahas). He also is super interested in knowing who the teams are that are playing when we watch and also knows the Carroll players names.
The first video is Travis' "trick shot". We have also picked up the clapping from watching the track meet. Although I am super impressed with my husband's talents, I think it's super cute how Bryant has to tell Garrett about the trick shot at the end of the video:)
Bryant's shot has improved so much! I love his face after he made this shot:)
Buzzer beater!!!
