We went to the Science Circus
The kids were shy, but saw a lot of cool things and Bryant got some fake snow.
We went to a friend's house for a St. Patrick's Day party and got home late...this was how the boys fell asleep. Yes, Bryant is underneath my coat.
Another late night ride home.
Warm enough for a bike ride!
Even a spidey bike ride!
Garrett likes to do chest bumps with Dad:)
Garrett loves baseball as much as Bryant. I can't record Bryant anymore because he hits it back towards me too fast that I can't react to get out of the way, but here's Garrett swinging away.
Garrett is so good at making the little basketball in the hoop and he gets louder and louder with his "I made it" until you acknowledge that he did a good job.
March of course brings March Madness and the boys sure do love their basketball. Bryant always does countdowns to see if he can make his shot before the buzzer goes off.
He even made himself his own championship trophy and would make plays like they were doing on tv. His math skills are getting really good because he adds up his score and his opponent's score with every basket they make.
Garrett likes to race, but someone has so start the race, so he kept backing up and saying "Marks" until we would start the race for him. Not sure what he was racing for, but such a silly kid!
Bryant showing off his dunking skills with some bragging about touching the rim.
For Bryant's Spring Break, we took him to the Ferdinand movie in the Movie Theater. I think he's only gone to the movies twice, so it's a pretty special treat.
Then we packed up the car and took the boys on a road trip to Spokane. I'm not sure how we've ever driven to San Diego in the past because lately 15 minute trips in to town have turned into the "Are we there yet?" annoyance. The boys did okay to Spokane and managed to build some pretty silly things during their boredom.
A stop in St. Regis for lunch and checking out the fish tanks.
After we got checked into our hotel in Spokane, we headed down to a bowling alley for a little fun. We didn't originally get Garrett shoes thinking that he may not want to bowl. Not sure why we thought that since he has to do what everyone else is doing. So they even had shoes that were Garrett's size and he LOVED them.
Here's Garrett bowling on his own
He just loves the shoes. He would run back like that after every turn.
Here's Bryant bowling - I like how he leaned to try and get his ball to move more in that direction.
They had an arcade room too. Garrett usually picks up on things pretty quickly by watching his brother, but that wasn't so much the case with skee ball. Nothing was damaged in the filming of this video...
We checked out the Spokane Falls
We wasted some time in Walmart and told the boys they could each pick out one thing. Garrett ended up with the biggest basketball I've ever seen, but he definitely had the biggest smile I've ever seen too:)
We walked around Gonzaga and since it was the Friday before Easter, they had an Easter egg hunt in one of the buildings on campus. The boys were pretty excited to find some eggs!
And the real reason we decided to head to Spokane was because we added a new member to our family!!! Meet Bella, our Frenchton pup (1/2 Boston Terrier, 1/2 French Bulldog).
The boys were entertained the whole way home!
Garrett was so cute eating lunch on the way home.
Bryant was so sweet with his pup. Garrett wasn't quite sure what to do with an active little pup. Here he is saying "Kisses Bella" with some nervous, excited belly laughs.
Bryant falls asleep with his pup every night. He is so in love (as we all are). She can be quite the feisty and stubborn little girl, but super cuddly and sweet. Maybe she's a bit like Garrett and his sour patch kid tendencies:)
