October ended with Garrett snuggling Bella and November starts with Bryant snuggling Bella.
We went over to Grandma and Grandpa's new house in Helena to celebrate Grandpa Ed's birthday
The card was pretty funny!
Dressing up the poor Bella dog. You'll see a cut on Bryant's nose... that was from doing parkour in our basement and his nose hit the cupholder in the chair...
Remote learning on his new laptop
The kids really wanted to use some of their own money to get a toy at the store. These were their purchases:
Exhausted little jedi snuggling with his bobcat named bobcat willy
Garrett wanted me to cut out a heart and then he wanted family names written in it
Garrett drew a picture of our family with light sabers, except mom (person on the right) and I was apparently taking a shower and that's water going down the drain...
It's a Christmas competition to see whose amaryllis grows bigger between Grandpa Jack and Grandma Susie and us. This was to show we weren't starting at the same size and of course our boys chose the bigger one to start with.
Someone's happy with the flower progress so far!
Garrett's pictures that he drew me for my birthday. Because the year was what it was, it was only appropriate that we had to quarantine for my birthday and Thanksgiving. Luckily no one got sick but it was definitely a quieter holiday.
Here's our little Thanksgiving dinner. We did a pretty good job pulling together four the first time on our own (mostly since my mom left a couple dishes for us outside our door). Do you recognize Travis with his beard?!
Apparently playing with food is fun! Bryant made an igloo in his cinnamon roll
Proud of his Lego creations - I think he decided this was a food truck.
We got a drink fridge for our bar that we built downstairs and the boys had so much fun playing with the box. I had a good laugh at their store. In case you can't read what it says in the picture, above the little window it says "git your drinks in hear" and then you can tell what we have in our fridge and where the boys thought they could make the most money
Ice drinks $2
Cold smoke $20
"Budiser" $5
Wine $3
Travis shaved off his beard and left the mustache and this was the boy's reaction
Because this was the mustache! Even Bella was concerned!
He did shave the rest of it off after that. We were pretty tired of being cooped up in quarantine so we headed to "the Morial" (according to Garrett) aka Memorial Park to play. Garrett was able to do the monkey bars for the first time!
Picture evidence of the first to flower!
Bryant wanted to save up money for an animal and created something for Garrett to save money in too and then wrote him a note about it
I just wanted to capture a couple of Bryant's writing assignments. He had to write about his name in this one
Appropriate that their self portraits at school have masks. I like how he colored all his freckles for his picture too
His writing assignment about a favorite memory.
Bryant wrote his own letter to Santa this year. He had done so much research on pets and decided on a leopard gecko and took pages of notes about them. I asked him if that was all he wanted to ask for from Santa and he was afraid that if he asked for more, he wouldn't get what he really wanted, which was the gecko.
We helped Garrett with the letters to spell his words and hs asked for a tank for a turtle and a Lego ship.
And just like that, November was over!
