Cooking!

Bryant has always been interested in watching us cook dinner, but now he needs to help by cooking on his own.  He pulls out the pots and spoons and I have to put a little bit of whatever I am cooking in his pots so he can stir...

...and taste.

The other night I was making chili in the crock pot and Bryant pulled his stool over and had to help stir.

On Saturday, we headed into town to watch the Carroll volleyball team play.  It has been a little bit cold lately, so this was how Bryant chose to dress for the weather:

He was so tired that he actually fell asleep during the volleyball game.  I couldn't believe he slept through all the noises and cheering!

He got a new pair of shoes and a new pair of snow boots yesterday.  He was so excited that he kept saying "look at my new shoes!"  Today, we went to run an errand in town and he would not leave the house without his snow boots on!

I also had gotten him a new winter coat recently and he thought that was really fun to wear too.  Although the weather was around 55 degrees today, our kid was dressed for the freezing temperatures:)

And More Football

My boss had brought cake pops into work on Friday afternoon and happened to have an extra one for Bryant.  He has never had one before, but was pretty excited when I showed it to him.

It was obviously a big hit!

We were in the football mood on Saturday and decided to take Bryant to watch some little kids playing tackle football.  He was very intimidated for most of it - I think mostly because the fans were really intense, but once he got a hold of daddy's coffee cup, he was having a blast!

We left there to go watch the bobcats on TV.  Do you think Bryant was excited???

Bryant loves his doggy and anywhere Mocha goes, so does Bryant.  Needless to say, daddy had a full lap watching the bobcats play!

More Football!

Bryant was ready for more football on Saturday, so he put on his own jersey...backwards!

I think he has been watching daddy too because he has been into measuring things lately.

After a change in clothes for the weather, Bryant was practicing his touchdown signal.

We decided to try out a Carroll football game this weekend since they were playing their big rival.  Bryant enjoyed the licorice!

The game must have really tuckered him out because he fell asleep on Grandpa while watching the Bobcats play football on tv.

On another note, he still loves taking his selfie

We recently bought Bryant a portable dvd player because we decided to take another road trip to San Diego.  We then bought mom and dad headphones so that we don't have to listen to the movies the whole trip.  He loved them until I started playing music in them, so we'll see if he will actually use them or not.

Bobcat Football!

The other day Bryant decided he wanted to go put on a hat and he came back wearing his reindeer hat from last Christmas.  He decided to take his selfie (with a little help from mommy) with his silly hat.

Last Saturday, we headed to Harvest Days at Farm in the Dell, which is just down the road from us.  Bryant got to go on a wagon ride and I couldn't get him to look at me for a picture.

They had a petting zoo and Bryant's favorite was the goats again.

He got to go fishing for a prize - look at that focus!

And finally, he got to pick out a pumpkin!

Admiring his loot:)

Then, we changed Bryant into his gold rush t-shirt and got ready to head to the Gold Rush Bobcat football game.

I found it funny because our day ended the exact way it started.  On the ride down, Bryant fell asleep so he could be nice and rested for the 7:00 night game.

We had to park quite a ways away, so Daddy carried him to the stadium

Family pre-game selfie

Bryant absolutely loved watching football, the band, the cheerleaders running with the bobcat flags...he loved it all!

He got a foam finger - so much fun:)

Our seats were next to Travis' Uncle Jim and Aunt Denise. Go Bobcats!

Uncle Jim shared his blue cotton candy with Bryant.  Bryant's selfie this time was his kiss face:)

And now in reverse! A post-game family picture

Daddy carrying Bryant back to the car

And a well-deserved sleep on the way back home

I wasn't sure how Bryant would do sitting through a whole football game and having it be so late, but he did awesome.  He was still a bit tired the next day and fell asleep on my shoulder.  I like how you can still see his bobcat "tattoo" on his hand.

On another note, I was doing some cleaning the other night and I heard Bryant feeding Mocha.  He kept running back and forth and the couple times I looked up, he was getting pretty small cupfuls.  When I finally did look, Bryant had quite the heap of food for Mocha!

Videos and More

Bryant really likes to play baseball at home and his new thing is to throw his baseball bat after he hits it and then run around the bases

On Monday afternoon, we went to watch the last Brewer's baseball game with friends and after the game, Bryant actually got to run the bases.  He was a bit nervous, but halfway down the first base line, he got the hang of it:)

I also had an older video from when we were at the cabin.  Bryant was dancing away to the music in the movie.

The other day, we made a golf club for Bryant.

He loved to swing it

And just like baseball, he throws his club after he hits it.

We were cleaning out our garage the other day and found a whole bunch of helmets.
