Happy Easter!

Meal time is more like mess time in our house.  Here's a glimpse of what goes on:

The first part of this video is my favorite.  Garrett has started pointing to himself and says "Gare-Gare"

He is obsessed with showing his belly, so he was a bit distracted, but here's a couple of his signs that he does.

I'm not sure where he got this from, but he's always blowing on things to make farting noises, whether it's the couch or my chest or arm.  It just makes him laugh and laugh.

So does playing with his brother.  Garrett puts up with so much from his brother.

The boys were all snuggled up in their pajamas, so I had to take a picture.

Bryant had his first soccer practice of the year last Tuesday.  Bryant was super shy, but Garrett was loving it.  He was out on the field before practice and kept signing "more"

Bryant was having a lot of fun before all the other kids showed up and he played a lot after most everyone left.  I have a feeling we'll have a pretty similar soccer year as last year.

He gets so nervous around new people, so I wasn't going to sign him up for soccer, but he loves his sports.  The other day, we went for a walk and he had to kick his soccer ball the whole way.

Playing with the spray bottle after a haircut.

Friday night we did some prep for Easter.  First up, dye Easter eggs.

Then we decorated cookies.

Saturday morning, we had the neighborhood Easter egg hunt.  Garrett was sick again, so he wasn't super interested in hunting for eggs.  And he likes to hoard things in his hands, so he wasn't a big fan of the idea that  you grab eggs and put them in your basket - he preferred to just hold a couple.

Bryant got nervous with all the people there so it took him a bit to start egg hunting, but once he started, he had a lot of fun.

Carrying loot home and trying not to blow away in the wind.  Definitely Easter in Montana!

After everyone being sick and not going out much, we decided after the egg hunt that we would go to Great Falls for the circus.  You can't tell from this picture, but everyone had a good time at the circus!

I think Garrett's favorite part was the ice cream.

Bryant's favorite part was the 2 motorcycles that drove around in a ring.

Bryant was beyond excited when he saw the Easter bunny left him an arrow that indicated he should look for eggs downstairs.  "I just know that means he wants me to go downstairs."

You can tell poor Garrett was not feeling well this morning, even his poor little eyes were a bit swollen.

This picture is sorta blurry, but I love Bryant's reactions as he ran from egg to egg.

Then it was time for hunting eggs at Grandpa and Grandma's house

Posing for the camera

Bryant was such a help to Garrett so he could find his eggs.  He was giving super obvious clues while pointing directly at each egg.

Playing bubbles!

Bryant was also excited to finish his new puzzle too!

We definitely had two tired boys tonight.  Happy Easter everyone!

Spring in Montana

We've been having some warmer-ish days and have been enjoying some outdoors.  Garrett already wore a big hole in the bottom of the shoes Bryant had as a baby, so he got a new pair of kicks.  He gets to go outside at daycare now and he realizes how much he loves to play outdoors!

I think this was really the first time that Garrett has gotten to use the playset in our yard.

After I was taking the pictures, I realized that we had pictures of Bryant at about the same age, wearing the same shirt! Here's Bryant's picture...Garrett is definitely bigger, but I can see some similarities.

Skip forward 4 years...it is amazing how much this kid has grown!

Garrett thought the slide was fun and wanted more!

Bryant thought it was fun to take his brother on the slide

Exploring everything:)

Then Bryant wanted to take Garrett and Mocha for a wagon ride.

We promised Bryant that if he slept in his bed all night that we would get him nun-chucks. And then he had to practice his ninja moves all night...but he did sleep in his bed all night.

I love their ninja outfits that they put together.

Such a serious face!

Here are Bryant's new ninja moves with nun-chucks.

And Garrett's moves...and his hair was so cute.  I don't know why it was standing straight up, but he was Alfalfa from the Little Rascals all day!

We took the electric scooter out for a drive and Bryant can do it by himself now.

But he still does like to ride with Dad.

The boys went to a Star Wars themed birthday party and got light sabers.  Garrett definitely wants to do everything his brother does!

We're definitely looking forward to more warmer days ahead!
