Happy 2nd Birthday, Bryant!

Our sweet little boy is 2 years old!  He had quite a busy week, which started with baking his cake on Wednesday night.  He definitely is my son because he liked licking the batter off the beaters:)

Thursday, his actual birthday, was filled with a ton of excitement, which started with us singing "Happy Birthday"

After daycare, he got a cupcake...

...and got to open a few presents

"My blow bubbles?"

I couldn't get a good picture, but he kept saying and signing "more presents"

"Fire truck!"
After a quick present opening, we  headed to the fair and rodeo in town.  This was Bryant's first time to the rodeo and he loved it.  After the cowboy fell off or was done with his ride, Bryant would say "all done", "fall down", "bonk his head".  And who doesn't love an event where you can get popcorn?

My selfie skills are horrible (sorry you got half cut out of the picture Trav), but this was about 9:30 pm and Bryant was still having a blast at the rodeo.

After the rodeo, the kids got to do a quick ride.  I'm glad we went with our friends and Bryant could feel comfortable enough to go on the ride with his buddy Gage.  He was so excited!

And then the ride started.  I'm surprised the kids didn't get whiplash with how fast it suddenly took off and threw their little heads around on the corners.  While the ride was going, Bryant was shooting us some horrible glares, but he didn't cry

But overall he seemed to have fun because he was all smiles at the end of the ride

"My popcorn"
It was a late night for all, so not surprisingly, he fell asleep on the way home.  What a busy, happy day for the birthday boy!

On Saturday, we had Bryant's birthday party, which had a sports ball theme.  Travis helped me decorate the cake and cupcakes the night before.  Surprisingly for two rookie bakers, they didn't turn out looking too bad!

When his friends arrived, they played in the pool and his bouncy house

Then it was time for dinner and presents

Cake time!  Bryant has been so excited when we sang him Happy Birthday over the past couple weeks, but he seemed so shy when everybody sang to him at his party!

Then it was time for more outside fun.  Good thing we changed him out of his swimsuit, so he could jump back in the pool fully clothed!

Him and his buddy Gage got to finish the night out with a movie in the Theater Room.

Today we were still working through opening presents and playing with him.  His rocket blaster was super fun!

Playing trains!

Wheeee!

This week went by so fast and I can't believe my little boy is 2 years old.  He is an absolute joy and the greatest gift to Travis and I.  Thanks to all who helped make Bryant feel special on his birthday (and every other day too).  Happy Birthday B-Man!!!
