Catching Up

I've got a lot to catch up on, so going to try and break it up into a couple of posts.  Bryant has been doing well with school and most importantly he really enjoys going and learning.  He earns stars for good behavior and gets to pick prizes out of the treasure box when he gets enough stars.  His first pick was the yellow super bouncy ball.  He's since gotten stamps, bubbles, rice crispy treats and more.

Garrett wanted his picture just like big brother:)

Not sure why this came in sideways, but Garrett likes to pretend he is "Jago" and was practicing ninja moves on Bryant.

We got in a couple walks and bike rides before the weather got cold.  It's always an adventure because Bryant's feet get "dizzy" so he stops riding his bike and Garrett wants to get out and push the stroller, so we usually end up looking something like this:

All ready for picture day!

My big kindergartner!

Here's his class:)

Such a happy kiddo

This is his "thumbs up"

Trav is such a fun dad...he built Bryant a warped wall like they have on American Ninja Warrior

It only took Bryant a couple tries and he was already reaching the top!

Garrett has a ways to go...

When the weather was nice, Bryant liked to have ice cream on the deck and watch the sunset.  On this night, Garrett was entertaining us with his animal sounds.  He got a bit distracted by the airplane flying by, but still super cute.

Bryant earned a "mighty manners" for being respectful at school.

This was our last night on the deck before cool weather hit for good.  Notice we already have blankets out, so it was already pretty chilly!

Garrett entertaining us some more...he did those spins for at least 5-10 minutes!

Spoiler alert - Bryant picked out his Halloween costume super early.  He knew as soon as he saw it that he wanted to be Optimus Prime.

Bryant did a month of swim lessons in October.  I was amazed at his progress in the short time.  We'd held off for a couple years because the next level was without us in the pool and we weren't sure how he'd do with someone he didn't know.  After he did good with t-ball and soccer and after starting kindergarten, we decided to give it a try and he did awesome.

More warped wall - this time with the added  challenge of the buzzer (grabbing the rocket) at the top of the wall.  And having his brother throw balls at him too.

Garrett loved playing in the gym while waiting for Bryant to get dressed after swimming.

And Bryant loved to shoot hoops after too

Bryant wore his goggles on top of his head more than over his eyes, but Garrett sure liked them over his eyes even though he couldn't see anything!

Bryant got to go on his first field trip for school.  They went to the fire station in East Helena.  I'm not sure if he was more excited to see the fire trucks or to ride the school bus.

Garrett loves his trains and chases them all over the house.  This was his last picture before I cut his hair!!!

Bryant's pre-haircut picture

Look at my baby who doesn't look much like a baby anymore!!!  I'm so used to his hair short now that it was pretty entertaining seeing his flowing locks at the beginning of the post.

Haircuts for all the boys

The boys wore their Yankee shirts during the playoffs and helped them through a couple victories.  Thumbs up, Garrett!

Face stickers to watch bobcat football!!!

Go Cats!

Lots more to come - hopefully sooner rather than later.  More football, Halloween, playing in the snow, and stitches for Garrett...ugh!
