San Diego Vacation

Aunt Heather, Uncle Brian, and cousins Madeline and Olivia recently moved to San Diego, so we packed up the van and headed south for a little vacation.  We saw two moose on our way down. 

 

 

 

The first night we made it all the way to Beaver, UT and apparently Beaver is not like Vegas because what happens there, doesn't stay there.  Bryant got his first tattoo...

 

It must have either been too noisy or too bright in our room for Bryant because this was how I found him when I woke up...

 

Bryant did so well for being in the car for such long periods of time.  He got to snack on a lot of foods and play with a lot of toys.  Here he is chatting away on his phone

Sunday was our first full day in San Diego and we started it out by going to the Aquarium

But he loved looking at all the inside ones even more.  He would run from window to window while pointing his finger and "talking".  It was so fun to watch!

The Aquarium also had displays outside to show ways to generate energy.  If you spun a wheel, it played music.  Bryant and Olivia heard the music...

...and immediately started dancing!

Uncle Brian had his car in the car show, so in the afternoon, we went to the park to see all the cars.  I think Travis found a couple cars that he wouldn't mind having in our garage!

 

Madeline had a little "strider" bike (no pedals) in the garage and every time we got back to their house, Bryant would run in the garage and want to ride the bike.

 

The next day was spent at the Zoo.  We saw a lot of really neat animals and had an absolute blast!

Right before going to the Zoo, Bryant had tripped and fell and got his first bloody nose and a bit of a fat lip, but that didn't stop him from having fun!

 That afternoon, we got to play in the hot tub.  Bryant loved to relax and soak!

 

 

The next day, we headed to the beach

 

 

That evening we had dinner at a Mexican restaurant close to the beach and were able to catch the sunset over the water.  It was absolutely beautiful!  There was a kids park not too far away, so we played and got lots of pictures.

 

 



The next day was spent at Sea World.

Popcorn at the Shamu show was a hit!

Everyone was so excited for the show!

 

 

 

The little ones took a nap, so the big kids got to play some too!

 

 

 

 

 

After a long day, those kiddos needed a bath!

 

 

 

 

Our last day there, we spent at the Children's Museum, which like all our other adventures, was a blast!

This was the start of Bryant and Olivia really starting to "play" with each other

...until it gets in your eyes.

The weather was always perfect and our little boy who loves to play outside took advantage of every chance he got to be outside...even lunch!

 

 



The last night, we went back to another restaurant next to the beach to enjoy another sunset

 

The drive home went just as well as the drive there and we had one tired little boy!

 

 

 

We had an absolutely amazing vacation and can't wait to go back! Thanks to Aunt Heather, Uncle Brian, Madeline, and Olivia for making our trip so fun:)
