Flippin' Fun 20 Months

I've been really bad about taking pictures again and another month has already gone by.  Bryant is 20 months old and we wanted to celebrate in a flippin' fun way!  I had heard about an indoor trampoline center in Great Falls, so we went to check it out.  The name of the place...Flippin' Fun Center.  The first time we looked into going there, they were closed and I told Travis that the Flippin' Fun Center was closed and he thought I was mad and swearing that it was closed.  Nope.  That's just the name.

Bryant was very nervous at first, but after watching a few little kids and big kids, he started to think it looked like fun.  He didn't quite get the hang of jumping on the trampoline, but he was good at jumping on the mats:)

They had a couple dodgeball courts and this basketball court and Bryant did his first dunk!

When we got home, he got to go 'wim' (swim) in the hot tub

Now for the 20 month update...

Bryant can now drink out of a cup (not just a sippy cup) without making a giant mess.

He apparently likes to take in a couple minutes of March Madness.  I think he found the best seat in the basement!  Is it just me or does he look way older than 20 months in this picture???

He is very ticklish, especially under his arms and chin.  This is his tickle giggle face:)

If he is going to be dunking the basketball, I suppose he better have a letter jacket!

He loves shoes and will try to put on any pair that he can find and the other day, he wanted my boots on.

We started to get some nicer weather, which was promptly followed by more snow, but we were able to get his ball cap out again.  I wish warm weather would hurry up and get here because Bryant has been battling another cold.  Seems like he gets one every three weeks or so:(

He is still making really good progress with his language, but he only talks if he is comfortable with his surroundings.  Apparently he is just starting to feel comfortable with his teachers at daycare.  The other day the teacher was all excited because Bryant said "off".  I told her he says it all the time in front of us, but she never hears him talk.  And when he did, it was usually a whisper.  The next day I picked him up, she was impressed with how many words he knew.  He is getting really good with saying please and thank you (and not just using sign language) and I must always ask clarifying questions for what he wants because he has started anticipating my questions.  I gave him a snack in the car on the way home from daycare and now every time I pick him up, he asks for a 'nack' when he gets in his seat.  I ask if he wants a snack, and before I can finish, he says 'yes'.  So, now if he wants something, he'll say the word followed by 'yes'.  The other thing that I think is super cute is he doesn't respond with 'no' anymore....it's 'no way'.  He also seems to become more independent all the time.  If he is hungry, tired, or not in a familiar setting, he wants to be carried, but other than that, he wants to walk/run at his own pace.  I guess I'm going to have to admit that he is growing up and is only 4 months away from being a 2 year old!
