We had Garrett's first birthday party on his first birthday. And what better way to start your birthday than with waffles with berries and whipped cream!
After getting all cleaned up, it was time for presents
His favorite part of opening presents was the bows and tissue paper.
Bryant was super excited for Garrett's presents.

And two days before his birthday, Garrett took his first steps! By his birthday, he was confident enough to eat and walk at the same time
He had a balloon themed party
He had a big taco dinner
And then it was time for cake

Then time for presents with friends. He wasn't very into opening presents himself, but there were 5 older kids that were happy to help!
It's amazing how much older he seems now that he turned 1 and started walking. Crawling is still his preferred method of getting around, but he's walking more and more every day. He is using his signs to say milk, more, or all done. He loves to babble and say mama, dada. He's got 6 teeth, 3 on top and 3 on bottom. He had is doctor's appointment last Monday and was taller, heavier, and had a bigger head than Bryant did (graphs to come in the next update). He loves to eat and play and is the happiest little guy.
