More Granite and Tile

Today, I was almost able to complete the accent tiles in the master shower. Here's a close up. On the outside of the border the tiles are in a brick pattern. The accent tile consists of a chair rail, a small border, then the tiles on a diagonal with the small tile cut-out in the center.
There are a few pieces left to fill in and I need to get more chair rail, but not too bad of progress for one day!
We are still waiting on the trim guys to finish, but I haven't posted a picure of the trim over the window in the living room.

The granite installers finished the kitchen, minus a little polishing of the seams and we absolutely love how it turned out.

The laundry room...the backsplashes still need to be siliconed in

More Jack and Jill

Travis stained the corbels (wood pieces holding up the granite overhang on the breakfast bar) to match the cabinets and painted the one strip black to match the chair rail

Quite a bit of the work was done on the rock on Friday between Trav and his dad, but in the midst of hurrying to my car to avoid being in the cold weather, I forgot to take pictures of the outside. I will try to post some of the outside tomorrow.
On another note, the plumber came out and tested the gas line and the electrician hooked up the furnace, so now we need to get the HVAC guy out to hook up all the heat. Once the heat is hooked up, the carpet go in and ideally we would like to have the plumber in before the carpet goes in. Hopefully he is able to make it this coming week.
